Indian School of Mines: MBA admissions

Applications are invited by Indian School of Mines (ISM) for admission to its AICTE approved MBA program through CAT 2011 scores.

Eligibility
A Bachelor’s degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA {45% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and DA. For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.

Selection : Applicant shall have to appear CAT - 2011. Once they receive the CAT 2011 scores, they have to apply online at the Application Submission System available at our institute website http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection. The sanctioned strength for the MBA Program is 62 and the reservation policy of Government of India meant for higher educational institutions is strictly adhered to.

Application for Admission
Application fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rs.750/- for SC and ST candidates) shall be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhanbad, and should be submitted along with a print out of the filled-in online application form and necessary documents to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad – 828206, Jharkhand.

Important Dates:
  • Online Application Form Submission System will be available at ISM, Dhanbad website from January 10, 2012 to February 24, 2012.
  • Last date for submission of filled-in application form along with requisite fee and other relevant documents is March 2, 2012.
